A company called Terrafugia has been working to bring the first airborne sedan. It announced that it will finally will be shown to the world in late 2015. But the clumsy transition is nothing like the humans have fantasized about flying around everywhere. The Terrafugia also announced that it is working on alternate model, the TF-X that is a car will take off vertically with the rotor propellers, fly with the wings like private jet and drives like normal sedan car

According to Terrafugia, the car can carry four people ‘in car like comfort’, boast a
nonstop flight range of 500 miles, fit in a single car garage, take off vertically from a clearing that's just 100 feet in diameter, and will be road and highway ready. The company also insist that any driver will be able to learn to pilot the airborne car within a mere five hours, though they still have to have to get their pilot license
